Coaching with Brantford City Soccer Club

-Brantford City Soccer Club is always looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to become a coach/involved with coaching with the soccer club.

-All coaches and team officials must complete a police check to be eligible to coach. Coaches will be reimbursed this cost upon successful completion

-We would love to have you join the BCSC team!!!

-Brantford City Soccer Club is looking to get more women involved in the game and into the roles of team officials. Please reach out to us so that we may answer any questions to help facilitate this. 

-There are opportunities each year offered to become both a recreational and competitive level coach:

-Club Head Coach: Anthony Punturiero

Competitive:

-Coaches must complete a coaches application. These applications are available by contacting the office at bcsc@bellnet.ca 
-Upon review by the Rep Director anyone who is successful in obtaining the role of team official will be contacted to notify them thusly
-A competitive coach must be committed to training multiple times per week throughout the entire year, and available to coordinate and attend tournaments/festivals throughout the year.
-A high level of soccer knowledge is recommended and will be given priority in selecting coaches at this level. 
-All competitive level coaches will obtain the proper certifications:

  • One of the following: FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, or Soccer for Life and;
  • All of the following: Making Ethical Decisions, Respect in Sports Leader, First Aid and CPR

-The club provides the FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, or Soccer for Life, First Aid and CPR courses for free and offers a discounted Making Ethical Decisions Course for BCSC coaches

 

Recreational:

-Coaches must complete a coaches application. These applications are available by contacting the office at bcsc@bellnet.ca 
-This opportunity is perfect for individuals looking to give back to the community, while soccer knowledge is an asset it is not a requirement as we help provide all of the educational background needed to have a successful season.
-Any previous players or individuals in the adult Co-ed or Open Women’s league are encouraged to pass on their soccer knowledge to the next generation

-This is a perfect way to bolster your resume by giving back to the community, obtaining necessary volunteer hours, or as an alternative to a lazy night in the house. 
-Prior to each season BCSC has an information night where coaches learn everything required and have a meeting where all of the necessities and resources for the season are provided.
-At the conclusion of each season you will receive a coupon as a thank you for your assistance in helping the players it develop not only their skills but into well-rounded individuals.
-Their is opportunities for coaching both indoor and outdoor and at all age levels
-Brantford City Soccer Club provides a complimentary educational courses to the coaches  who coach with us once annually:

  • One of the following: FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, or Soccer for Life
